Police appeal to public after teenage girl goes missing

Police have appealed for assistance to help locate a teenage girl, who has gone missing in western Sydney.

Fifteen-year-old Alison Panyanouvong, from Bonnyrigg Heights, was last seen on Thursday morning, when she was dropped at her school in Green Valley at 8.20am.

She is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with long, black, straight hair.

When last seen, Alison was wearing a white, short-sleeve button shirt, navy pants, navy jacket, and a black hoodie and was carrying a Nike backpack. She is known to frequent Cabramatta and Canley Vale.

Police are calling for any members of the public with information to come forward.

Anyone with information on Ms Panyanouvong’s whereabouts is urged to contact Fairfield Police on 9728 8399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Assistance was sought by police on Saturday afternoon, just hours after issuing a similar call for an 18-year-old Belgian backpacker who went missing after failing to return to his Byron Bay hostel.
