IMFL worth Rs 3.11L seized; two held

Rajkot: In two different raids carried out in Satadagam of Kuwadava locality in Rajkot and Ghanshyamnagar locality of Rajkot, police seized 708 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 3.11 lakh and arrested two bootleggers on Saturday.
A total of 660 bottles of IMFL worth Rs 2.87 lakh were seized from the farm belonging to Nitesh Meghani (35) who was arrested.

“We conducted the raid after receiving a tip-off about a large cache of IMFL bottles being hidden in the farm. During interrogation, Meghani said that one Dhawal Pujara had supplied the bottles to him. We have booked Pujara for the crime and launched a manhunt for him,” said an official from Rajkot crime branch.
The second raid was conducted at a house in Ghanshyamnagar locality where Ashok Khachar was arrested with 48 IMFL bottles worth Rs 24,000.
