Indrani Mukerjea plea order on July 4

A special court in Delhi reserved its order on a plea filed by Indrani Mukerjea, who is lodged in Byculla jail, on Friday. Mukerjea had sought to become an approver in the INX Media case, saying she had voluntarily sought grant of pardon.
Special CBI judge Arun Bhardwaj, who is dealing with cases of MPs and MLAs, heard CBI submissions on Friday while reserving the order for July 4. The case pertains to a proposal for Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approval to INX Media, owned by Peter Mukerjea and Indrani at the time.
