Bhopal Railway Division organised a ‘Level Crossing Awareness Week’ from May 31 to June 6. During these weeks the Safety Department of the Bhopal Railway Division will conduct many programs to educate the citizens about level crossing.
On Thursday, International Level Crossing Day was observed by the Bhopal Division Sanskritik Academy by presenting a ‘Nukkad Natak’ at level crossing no 247 Bawadiya Kalan. The ‘Nukkad Natak’ educated the people about level crossing and gave the message “Your safety is most important to us and follow the railway rules”.
They also asked the people to co-operate with the gateman when the crossing is closed and only cross the railway line when the gates are open.
The railway employees also distributed pamphlets and hand bills to the local residents and passers-by asking them to follow the rules written in them and practice them daily to live a safe life. They appealed local citizens, social organization and NGOs to co-operate and join them to make this mission successful.
