When it comes to pure driving machines, the Porsche Cayman GT4 is right up there with the best of them thanks to its 3.8-liter flat-six, finely tuned chassis, six-speed manual gearbox, lightweight construction an,d in this particular case, a few additional mods.
In terms of visuals, the car boasts a GT Silver Metallic exterior, equipped with bi-xenon headlights, the Light Design Package, plus a few mods such as the aftermarket roof scoop, black and yellow accent lines and further decals.
Other features include the factory 20-inch wheels refinished in black, Dunlop Sport Maxx tires and the optional $7,400 Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with yellow multi-piston calipers. There’s also a ‘GT4 RS’ script on the sides, whatever good that does you.
Inside, you get $4,730 carbon fiber bucket seats, yellow seat belts, yellow contrast stitching throughout the cabin, the Sport Chrono package, dual-zone climate control, leather-edged floor mats, loads of Alcantara and best of all, an odometer that shows just under 2,500 miles (roughly 4000 km) on the clock.
Of course, the pièce de résistance is the flat-six engine, essentially a Carrera S unit that was slightly detuned from 395 HP (400 PS) to 380 HP (385 PS) and 309 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. Give it the beans and it’ll launch the car from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.2 seconds, before maxing it out at 183 mph (295 km/h) – which, in our book, is pretty much all we want.
You can check out the car on Bring a Trailer, where you can also see its clean Carfax report and full spec sheet. Right now, the highest bid stands at $83k – and there’s still four days to go ’till the auction closes. You have been warned…
