Pakistan's defence budget remains unchanged in next fiscal year

Pakistan’s defence budget will remain unchanged in the next fiscal year (2019-20) as the country is forgoing any increase during budget allocation owing to the dire financial situation there. Pakistani armed forces "voluntarily agreed" for the same after taking into account the balance of payments crisis in the country.
