WWE Super ShowDown was the company’s third foray in Saudi Arabia. The card was loaded with matches being promoted as WrestleMania equivalent. However, the event failed to live up to the hype and also invited a fair bit of controversy. Hometown hero Mansoor won the record 50-man battle royal while The Undertaker beat Goldberg when they faced each other for the first time ever.
