Expert shares tricks for mind control

Nagpur: For a change, a lot of youngsters were heading to Bouffage Cafe and Bistro in Shankar Nagar on Wednesday evening. Not to catch up with their mates over coffee or for some relaxing chit chat. They were all gathered there to attend a mind changing seminar on how to ‘Control Anger, Anxiety and Depression’ by motivational and Tedx speaker Nakul Agrawal.
The event attracted a huge crowd. There were interactions, laughter and whistles all the time. Nakul Agrawal came out with some hacks and tricks that can help adolescents and adults to control their subconscious mind and emerge stronger from any kind of mental illness.
“The worst possible thing that may ever happen to you is death. So, it makes no sense to worry and overthink about the future or the present. Take a deep breath and hustle slowly. You will make peace with your anxiety and overthinking,” said Nakul while addressing the crowd.
“Putting your palms on your thighs and experiencing breathing helps to calm the nerves and relieve anxiety for that very moment. It’s all in the mind and once you gain control over it, there's nothing impossible,” he added.
He held an interactive session with the audience who hailed from different age groups and addressed issues faced by different people with different mindsets.

“I don't want to boast about it, but I have never really faced any panic attacks or anxiety. I mastered the art. If I can, then you, too, can. There's no rocket science,” he said.
The session ended with some fun activities like practising breathing techniques, claps and healthy laughter. Everyone enjoyed the show with food for their tummies and knowledge for their minds.
