Sub-station to have 18 staffers to tackle fire incidents in Sector 20, Ghaggar
PANCHKULA: Panchkula Municipal Corporation (MC) is all set to get a fire sub-station in Sector-20 and a hydraulic ladder fire tender will be placed at the station. The new installation will help the fire officers to take control over fire at high rise buildings in case of emergency. This has been a long pending demand of the residents as well. The reason behind the demand was that sector-20 was on the other side of Kalka-Shimla Highway and in case of any emergency it took time for a fire tender to reach the spot from Sector-5.

Now, a temporary fire sub-station in the community centre of Sector-20 would be set up by them.
