Pune: While the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has not yet declared the dates of Class X results, the students and parents are in a frenzy after rumours about the results circulated.

However, the Board Chairperson Shakuntala Kale has stated that the rumours are not to be believed as the calculation of the results is in progress.

Last year, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results were declared on June 8. Thus, there were speculations that the results would be declared between June 6 to 8 this year as well. To add to it, the messages stating that results will be held on June 6 were widely circulated on WhatsApp, due to which the students and parents were in a state of panic and worry.

Responding to the confusion, Kale said, “We are reviewing the working out of the results right now. The dates of the results have not yet been declared by the Board. We will inform the media at the right time, once we are done. Until then, if you come to know the result dates through any other medium, consider it a rumour.”
