Rowdy hacked to death in Tamil Nadu

PUDUKKOTTAI: A three-member gang hacked a rowdy to death at Pudukkottai town in Tamil Nadu on Friday.
The murdered man has been identified as S Suresh alias Suresh Pandian, 33, of Kovilpatti village in Pudukkottai district. Suresh was murdered when he and his friend went for walking in the morning.
The gang members who came on two motorcycles intercepted them and attacked Suresh with lethal weapons. The gang continued to attack Suresh till he collapsed. When he died, the gang fled the scene. Suresh’s friend suffered injuries when he tried to save him from the attackers.
The Thirugokarnam police registered a case and launched a hunt for the gang. The motive for the murder was yet to be ascertained.
