Is Love Island on Netflix?

Though Love Island is in its fifth season, the dating reality show didn't really catch on in America until last summer, when it became reality TV fans' latest obsession thanks to its availability on Hulu.

The daily show follows the ins and outs and ups and downs of a gaggle of sexy young Brits living in a mansion in Mallorca where their every move is being filmed. In order to stay in the house and continue vying for the cash prize, contestants have to couple up, which leads to constantly changing relationships and tons and tons of ~*~drama~*~. An American version is coming to CBS in July, while Season 5 of the British version is currently happening -- it premiered in the UK on June 3, where it airs on ITV.

Here's the thing, though: Love Island Season 5 is not currently available in America. It will be coming to Hulu at some point in the future, the streaming service has confirmed, but no date yet. But here's the other thing: Last season, episodes were added to Hulu about two weeks after they aired in the UK. So while there's no Hulu arrival date yet, the current season is still in its first week, so it's just too early for it to cross the pond yet. It's coming eventually, and probably pretty soon.
