Pune: On the occasion of World Environment Day, The Orchid Hotel, Pune, planted 100 bahawa trees on its premises. These trees are planted using the seedball method, ensuring survival and longevity. The seedballs are also manufactured in-house by the hotel.

These trees will add green cover to the city, help provide shade and shelter to birds, and add to the existing green landscape at the property.

“Every year, we plant trees on Environment Day, along with other eco-friendly initiatives. All our employees are involved in these activities, ensuring teamwork is present in all endeavours. These trees are native to the surroundings and help build an indigenous forest cover in the city,” said  The Orchid Hotel General Manager Ayon Bhattacharya.
