“Xiaomi says if the product is not delivered on the promised date, it will refund the delivery charges“
Apart from selling its products on Flipkart, Amazon, and Mi Home stores offline, Chinese giant Xiaomi also has its own Mi.com e-commerce platform that, according to the brand, is the third biggest e-commerce platform in India. Now, Xiaomi has launched a new guaranteed next-day ‘Express Delivery’ program at just Rs 49. The company is offering next day delivery in over 150 cities in India, including New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Pune, and more.
Furthermore, the guaranteed next-day delivery program applies to over 90 products, with the users required to place the orders before 3pm. The introductory Rs 49 delivery fee will be charged over the cost of the product. Xiaomi says if the product is not delivered on the promised date, it will refund the delivery charges to the original payment method. Notably, the next-day delivery option is available only from Monday till Friday and is not available on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
The Xiaomi Express Delivery service is not available for exchange orders, but the company claims to be working on making it available soon. With this, Xiaomi is aiming to take on Amazon and Flipkart in their own game. Xiaomi earlier introduced the Express Delivery in Bengaluru for select smartphones and pincodes but didn’t levy any additional charge.
