Haryana: Nukkad natak to create awareness on World Environment Day

AMBALA: The Ambala division of railways on Wednesday organised a Nukkad Natak (street plays) on the occasion of World Environment Day to spread awareness about Swachhta Abhiyan among passengers and at the railway station premises, told Ambala division railway manager Dinesh Chander Sharma.
The street play was performed by a team of scouts and guides which motivated the passengers to not litter on the platforms and a large number of passengers were attracted towards the nukkad natak.

Among the railway officials present on the spot were upper division rail manager Karan Singh, senior divisional commercial manager Hari Mohan and Ambala Cantonment station director Baljot Singh Gill.
Apart from plays, several rallies motivating the passengers to grow more trees were also organised at several railway stations of the Ambala division.
