Buyers of the all-new M8 Coupe and Convertible will be able to spruce up their cars with the addition of the M Performance accessories. Developed specifically for these cars, they provide a sportier appearance inside and out, and have been brought to life using the company’s racing expertise.

The carbon fiber exterior parts are the first things that are noticeable in these models. Thus, the M8 features a specific radiator grille, side decorative grille and sill attachments.

With their clear finish, high-gloss polish and resistance to UV and extreme temperatures, like the special engine cover, these new parts are car-wash compatible.

Meanwhile, tasked with reducing braking distance are the sport brake pads, derived from BMW Motorsport’s long-distance racing pads. These are also available for the two body styles of the new M8.

Giving the cockpit a racy vibe is the M Performance Pro steering wheel, with carbon fiber/Alcantara or carbon fiber/leather trim. The paddle shifters, made from the same lightweight material, complement the look, and can also be ordered separately for the standard steering wheel. The M Performance inscription and typical M colors are visible on other parts inside, whereas completing the look are the velvet velour floor mats, with leather-style surround, and special pennant.

Protecting the body from scratches is the indoor car cover. This machine-washable accessory is made of elastic polyester and fits the car perfectly, highlighting some of its design elements, like the kidney grille. Finally, BMW recommends buying the M Performance wheel bags too, which keep the wheels clean and facilitate transport.
