The headless body of a woman was found in the unused water tank of Cidco at Sector 9, Ghansoli on Tuesday. A man who had climbed on the tank to take a selfie noticed a foul smell and saw the body when he peeped inside.“The 25-year-old water tank was never used and was instead a spot for men to sit and drink alcohol. The body has been sent to JJ hospital for post mortem,” senior police inspector Dinkar Mohite from Rabale police station said.
