Bode Miller's wife has shared a series of videos of the couple's eight-month-old son learning to swim and float in a pool — just one year after they lost her daughter in a tragic drowning accident.
Morgan Beck, 32, posted the videos on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, June 2. The clips show her and 41-year-old Bode's young son, Easton Vaughn Rek, laying on his back and his stomach while he practices floating int he water.
The grieving parents are making it a top priority to ensure that their little boy can stay afloat if he ever falls in a pool in the hopes that he doesn't meet the same horrible fate as their 19-month-old daughter Emeline Grier, who died this time last year.

Learning: Morgan Miller has shared several videos of her eight-month-old son Easton Vaughn Rek learning how to float and swim during a swimming lesson

Quick learner: She captioned the clips, which showed Easton taking part in an infant swimming program that teaches them to float in water, saying: 'Working so hard but he's doing it!'
Morgan's Instagram stories on Tuesday showed eight-month-old Easton in a swimming pool with a swimming instructor.

Important: The eight-month-old (pictured) is currently taking part in a swimming program that aims to teach infants how to float in water until help arrives for them
The little boy alternatively floats on his back and also face-down on his stomach — which might seem alarming until one realizes he's learning just how not to drown if ever in that position.
The instructor can be seen turning the baby, who is wearing only a swimming diaper, onto his stomach in the water, and watching him as he kicks his legs until he is facing up again.
Easton is in a swimming program called the Infant Swimming Resource's Self-Rescue, for which Morgan shared links online.
The program's website states that is is designed to teach a child 'to roll onto his or her back to float, rest, and breathe, and to maintain this position until help arrives.
She wrote that her son is 'working so hard but he's doing it'.
Back in April, Morgan shared other clips of her son in the pool on her Instagram stories.
The clips showed Easton being held up in a swimming pool by a coach, learning how to float on his back.

Hard to watch: Last month, Morgan shared another video from one of Easton's swimming lessons and said she cried during the class
She captioned it: 'I cried tears of hope watching my baby boy learn this life saving skill... and then tears of sadness because it was all I had to do to keep my baby girl here. '
Morgan and Bode are starting Easton in pools younger than most kids in an effort to ensure they don't face the same gut-wrenching tragedy twice.
The couple was attending a neighbor's party last June when their daughter, who was just 19 months old at the time, ended up in the pool.
She was rescued from the water but paramedics were unable to revive her, and she later died in hospital.
Both Bode and Morgan, who was pregnant with Easton the the time, have been open in sharing their grief.

Devastating: Pictured with Morgan (L) and Bode (R), the 19-month-old ended up in a swimming pool when the family was attending a neighbor's party last June
Since losing her daughter, Morgan has become an advocate for water safety, regularly opening up about the tragic loss in an effort to prevent similar accidents happening for others.
After they lost their little girl, they shared photographs of the toddler alongside a caption that read: 'We are beyond devastated.
'Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this.

Hard: After Emeline passed away, Bode (pictured) and Moran shared photos of the toddler to Instagram and said: 'We are beyond devastated'
'Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to it’s fullest everyday. Our family respectfully requests privacy during this painful time,' she added.
Last August, Morgan shared a photo of herself and Emeline in hospital after the accident.
The image showed the toddler being supplied with oxygen while she lay in Morgan's arms surrounded by medical professionals.
In the caption of the photo, Morgan referred to Levi, another toddler, whose mother's name is Nicole Hughes, who died the exact same day as Emeline in a similar drowning accident.
Morgan captioned the image: 'I wish I could have one more day to hold you, but until that day comes, continue to work through me and give me the strength to bring awareness, my love.
'I told you as I held you in this moment that you could still change the world, you could still move mountains. Every step we take forward is because of you and Levi. Your footprint will forever be left on this world. I love you, My baby girl.'
The couple also has another four-year-old child, Nash, and Bode has another two children from a previous marriage.
