Last year, several filmmakers, directors, singers and lyricists were accused of sexual harassment in the wake of the #MeToo movement started by actress Tanushree Dutta. And the movement is again making headlines. An aspiring Tamil actress Shalu Shamu recently revealed that she was asked for a sexual favour in order to get a film. During an interaction session with her fans on Instagram, she revealed that a director asked her to sleep with him to get a role opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She then added, 'In case I complain, what is the use? Do you think the opponent party is going to accept it wholeheartedly? Crazy world'. Shalu was last seen in a movie called, 'Mr Local'.
