The Voice Australia viewers watched Kirrah Amosa storm off stage on Tuesday - but it turns out this may not be an accurate version of what happened.

The 24-year-old singer claims that her argument with Delta Goodrem and the other coaches was totally 'fabricated' by the show's producers.

She told Daily Mail Australia: '[My audition] was shown completely out of context, I didn't storm off and I thanked the coaches and said goodbye.'

Kirrah added: 'How they've made me look on TV is inaccurate. The fact they need to fabricate drama to get ratings is hilarious.'

Following her unsuccessful blind audition, Kirrah, who recently released an EP on Spotify, was asked by the coaches for a 'stronger' reaction.

She'd actually taken the news graciously, but Delta asked her leading questions like: 'I can see you're heartbroken, tell me about your feelings?'

Setting the record straight: '[My audition] was shown completely out of context, I didn't storm off and I thanked the coaches and said goodbye,' Kirrah told Daily Mail Australia

Speaking out: 'How they've made me look on TV is inaccurate. The fact they need to fabricate drama to get ratings is hilarious,' she added.

Despite insisting she was 'nervous but [feeling] really good', Delta continued: 'There were some great moments, you obviously have a talent.

'But what I was picking on is you don't have to be loud to be heard. Being louder doesn't necessarily mean we hear you.'

Guy Sebastian added: 'I'm sensing there's a little wall up right now. I feel like you were pushing because when you sing, you're trying to prove a point?'

A confused Kirrah responded: 'Um, yeah? I would have loved for you to have turned around, and there's a reason that you didn't.'

Kelly Rowland then said: 'The truth is, you're up on the stage because you want to sing, so I'm hoping that you'll be open to what we have to say.

'It comes from a really pure place. We're not here to bark at you, we want this to be a learning experience. I hope you take something from this?'

Remaining optimistic, Kirrah responded: 'The sun is still going to come up tomorrow.'

However, the coaches sensed an apparent lack of gratitude for their constructive criticism and continued to provoke her.

'I don't feel like you're listening to any of our advice,' said Delta, before the camera cut to Kirrah supposedly storming off stage.

However, this dramatic 'storm off' appeared disjointed in the final edit, with footage showing Kelly standing up and appearing to greet Kirrah.

The segment then abruptly cut off, which suggests that several seconds and some dialogue was removed.

Meanwhile, Kirrah has been targeted by trolls as a result of controversial exit, with several viewers labelling her 'arrogant' and a 'diva'.
