Volvo Makes Roadside Towing Free Of Charge For U.S. Customers

Volvo is expanding its suite of complimentary services available to U.S. owners with ‘Tow for Life’, a program that joins the recently launched Volvo Car Accident Advisor and Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty.

According to the Swedish carmaker, the best part is that the service will make roadside towing available free of charge “no matter what vintage Volvo you may drive.”

If your car is new, towing is already included as part of roadside assistance as per your warranty period. Still, using Tow for Life if you’re a post-warranty customer is a huge advantage.

“Tow for Life ensures that in the event of a breakdown, help is on hand no matter the age of the vehicle,” stated Volvo Car USA customer service boss, Scott Doering. “It’s a commitment to all our customers that cars will be taken to experts who use genuine Volvo parts and repair methods. This will get the customer back on the road faster and provide assurance that the repair was done right.”

So if you happen to have a breakdown, simply call for help using Volvo On-Call or via Volvo Customer Care at 1 (800) 550-5658. Tows that are initiated through these channels will see the vehicles taken to a local Volvo retailer covered under the program.

Volvo is currently on track to make driving safer and car ownership easier through various means across multiple continents. They’re also pushing forward with their subscription service, despite a number of car dealerships in California coming out against the program.
