Proposals invited from startups for Kerala Police

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has invited proposals from startups to ramp up the operations of state police through advanced technology.
The initiative aims at identifying products that will cater to the needs of the police department in IT, traffic management, disaster management and training programmes.
Startups that have enrolled with the department for promotion of industry and internal trade (DPIIT) can apply. Also, the opportunity will, in turn, throw open a new front for technology-driven enterprises.
Last date for submitting applications is June 15. For registration, visit: forms.zohopublic.com.
For more details, contact varun@startupmission.in /9567370286. Selected startups will be invited to present their products before Kerala Police.
KSUM is the nodal agency of the state government to promote entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.

Recently, Kerala Police inducted a robot as guest relations executive at its headquarters.
However, the machine was withdrawn from service due to some technical glitches.
