Japan, India to hold 2+2 dialogue

NEW DELHI: Japan and India will hold a 2+2 meeting which was agreed during the last Modi-Abe summit. Taro Kono, Japan’s foreign minister spoke to his counterpart S Jaishankar on Tuesday to invite him to Japan for the G-20 foreign ministers meeting in November.
In the system of annual summits between Japan and India, this year will see Japanese PM Shinzo Abe visiting India possibly around September-October.
