Fall River resident receives donated car from charity

FALL RIVER -- Gotdry Mills of Fall River received a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox from Good News Garage, a local car-donation charity that awards cars to families in need.

Good News Garage works in cooperation with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission to provide refurbished donated vehicles to people with disabilities in Massachusetts who otherwise could not afford to purchase their own. Cars will be used to transport the client to employment.

Qualified applicants must be a client of MRC and have a written Individual Plan for Employment.
