The State government transferred a few senior IPS officers and orders to this effect were issued on Tuesday.

Director-General of Police (DGP), Head of the Police Force (HoPF), D. Gautam Sawang, was given the charge as Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Road Safety Authority. Kasi Reddy V.R.R. Reddy, Director-General, Drugs and Copy Rights, was transferred and posted as Director-General, Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E).

P. Sitaraman-janeyulu, who is waiting for posting, was posted as Transport Commissioner vice N. Balasubramanyam.

K.R.M. Kishore Kumar, Director-General (Railways), was transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government (Home Department) vice A.R. Anuradha.

Ms. A.R. Anuradha was directed to report to the government in General Administration Department (GAD) for further posting.
