Carlton football director Chris Judd appeared to take a subtle dig at Garry Lyon after the former Melbourne captain slammed him for having a hand in the sacking of Brendan Bolton.
During On The Couch Lyon took aim at Judd and president Mark LoGiudice for not resigning alongside sacked Bolton.
'They won't go. But I'm holding them to account to what they said two weeks ago,' he said.

'When you back your man in unequivocally and then two weeks later you sack him … the right thing to do would be to go. He [Chris Judd] won't go. But the noble thing would be to go.'
However Judd, who captained the West Coast Eagles and Carlton, lashed out once he heard Lyon's remarks.
'Garry's entitled to his opinion,' Judd told Footy Classified.

'I loved Garry Lyon when I was growing up, we don't have to agree on all topics. Clearly I'm answerable to the members and the other members of the board.'
His comments were a thinly veiled attack on Lyon, who was exposed as having an affair with former co-host Billy Brownless' wife Nicky in 2016.

Lyon and Brownless had been friends for 15 years and worked together on the popular AFL Footy Show on Channel 9 between 2009 and 2015.
In March 2016, Brownless opened up about the toll the affair has had on his family, saying 'a good mate wouldn't do that' and believed the secret relationship could have been going on for up to four years.
Bolton was given the boot on Monday after another dismal performance against Essendon on Sunday from the Blues, who remain at the bottom of the ladder with just one win from 11 rounds this season.
He has the second-worst winning percentage of any AFL coach in history - with 21 wins in 82 games.

'I'm disappointed, but I accept the board's decision,' Bolton said as he fought back tears at a press conference at Ikon Park on Monday.
'I am obviously disappointed but I understand the reality of this caper.
'The win-loss challenges got too much ... it's another Carlton-first decision, so that's the way it is.'
