Confused motorist fills up at servo selling petrol for $1.33 - before it advertises unleaded for 34 cents more expensive moments later
- Motorist posted video showing petrol price difference between bowser and sign
- The video, uploaded on Tuesday, shows a bowser price of 133.5 cents per litre
- The camera then shows the roadside sign where all the fuel prices are higher
A confused motorist has uploaded a video of themselves filling up at a petrol station with the price at the bowser far cheaper than what is displayed on the sign outside.
The video begins by showing the petrol price at the bowser being 133.5 cents per litre, but then the camera moves over to the roadside sign - showing a price of 167.9 cents per litre for unleaded.
'Fuel price logic: 34.4c/litre increase during pumping,' the caption to the video, uploaded on Tuesday morning, reads.

Commenters on the video seemed just as confused as the person who posted it - questioning how a price difference of that much would be possible.
'I still have a hard time working out the logic behind how fuel can fluctuate by up to 30-40% in 24h yet the price of oil on a daily/weekly basis will only fluctuate by a fraction of that price,' one commenter said.
'That's really odd considering the price of oil is dropping we should see it drop this week not randomly go up like that,' said another commenter.
'The price always goes up on the sign first, so the bowser price would stand,' a third added.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the petrol station owners for comment.
