Threat of thunderstorms halts play at Roland Garros

Paris - Play was suspended at Roland Garros on Tuesday due to the threat of thunderstorms during the first two men's quarter-finals.

Roger Federer led a thrilling battle with Stan Wawrinka 7-6 (7/4), 4-6, 7-6 (7/5), 3-3 when the Swiss pair left Court Suzanne Lenglen.

Over on Court Philippe Chatrier, defending champion Rafael Nadal was 6-1, 6-1, 4-2 ahead against Kei Nishikori.
