ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION).
The Jonas Brothers whipped the crowd into a frenzy when the trio turned out in Westwood, Los Angeles on Monday (June 03) to launch their documentary "Chasing Happiness".
The young men, Nick, Joe and Kevin, were joined by their respective wives Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas, as screaming fans lined the pavements outside the Regency Bruin Theater.
The film shows how the brothers originally found fame and then follows them as they went their separate ways in 2013 to present day, where the band has reformed and are making music again together.
Nick Jonas told Reuters on the red carpet: "Well initially the thought was just make the movie and we weren't even intending on coming back together as a band but I think we wanted to tell the story of childhood and our crazy life and musical career when things really took off so many years ago, and what happened is that we all missed that magic that we felt then and we wanted to experience that again, so "Chasing Happiness" led us to feeling that way again and we were really grateful that we were able to make this movie and tell the story and hopefully families that have gone through tough times and watch this and feel inspired to call each other and say ' Hey, let's talk'." Joe Jonas, who recently married "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner in Las Vegas, said, "We've grown up and all looked at life differently and in different ways but the take-away is that we're able to look at each other and know that we got through this major life hurdle and that we're here today to talk to you guys about this amazing film.
Kevin Jonas added "There was definitely some therapy involved to get through it but it was needed, it was fun, we learned a lot about each other and it was just awesome." "Chasing Happiness" goes on release on Amazon on June 4.
