MADURAI
Following complaints from residents highlighting different issues, Corporation Deputy Commissioner P. Kumaresan conducted a grievance redressal meeting at Zone I (Ellis Nagar) here on Tuesday.
A total of 56 petitions, mainly related to drinking water supply, underground sewage connection, vacant land tax, roads, street lights, house tax, name transfer, new taxation and approval for building plans, were submitted.
A majority of the petitions pertained to lack of water supply in various wards. Mr. Kumaresan assigned officials to look into the grievances.
