Turmeric price decreases

Finger turmeric prices decreased by ₹250 a quintal and the root variety by ₹500 a quintal at the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales Yard. Similarly, the price of the root variety fell by ₹70 at the Regulated marketing Committee. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,758-7,469, while the root variety sold at ₹5,298-6,799. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,900-7,323. The root variety sold at ₹5,666-6,821.
