Trump's four adult children keenly shared photographs and videos from inside the historic Churchill War Rooms on Instagram on Tuesday after being given a behind-the-scenes tour most history buffs could only dream of. 

Ivanka, Tiffany, Donald Jr, Eric and his wife Lara were all brought along for the VIP tour of London's Imperial War Museum on the second day of the president's three-day trip in the UK. 

They were shown around by outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May.  

Eager not to miss the social media opportunity at hand, most shared the experience in snaps and stories on Instagram. 

The Churchill War Rooms were used in the Second World War by Winston Churchill and his Cabinet to plot Britain's military advances while bombing tortured the streets of London.

All four of the Trump children who were there promptly took to Instagram after the visit 

After taken behind the Plexiglas which separates members of the public from some of the artifacts, the Trumps posed for photos to share with their fans. 

In one, Lara Trump - who is expecting her second child - was seen standing next to her husband Eric, resting her hands on the chair Churchill sat in to lead his cabinet. 

Eric proudly shared the snap on his Instagram account along with others. 

'Unbelievable tour of the Churchill War Rooms deep under the streets of London. Much of World War II was run from this very chair. 

'Thank you to Prime Minister May for the wonderful tour and this incredible experience!' he said. 

Don Jr. shared a similarly enthusiastic caption on his post.

Donald Jr. shared these photographs from inside the museum on Tuesday 

Donald Jr. took photographs of the doors which lead to 10 Downing Street, where the Prime Minister lives. The War Rooms are part of a network of underground tunnels used during World War II

Ivanka also shared photographs from the business meeting she had been invited to join by her father and of herself leaving 10 Downing Street 

'So overwhelmed to be able to witness this history firsthand with my family. 

'Really drives home the burden of responsibility bestowed upon my father by the American people as #potus,' he wrote. 

Tiffany. who is rarely involved in official, family engagements, shared an Instagram story from inside, just as she had done from Buckingham Palace the previous evening. 

Donald Jr. and Ivanka also shared photos from the evening, describing it as 'the experience of a lifetime'. 

Tiffany and Donald Jr. also gave shout-outs to the people who supplied their clothes; Tiffany, to British designer Suzie Turner, and Donald Jr. to Zang Toi, a favorite of his former Fox News personality girlfriend.  

The siblings and their respective partners all seemed to enjoy their evening with the Queen and members of royalty and they shared this group picture on Instagram

Eric Trump posted a group picture on Instagram alongside his brother Don Jr, brother-in-law, Jared Kushner, and his dad the US president at the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace

Don Jr looked dapper in his suit for the occasion which appears to be white tie or full evening dress in this Instagram picture her shared on social media 

Ivanka said it was special to be able to share the occasion with her 'crew' of siblings
