Visakhapatnam MP-elect M.V.V. Satyanarayana on Monday said that the State government would extend support for the growth of industries in the constituency.
During an interactive programme organised by Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce & Industry, he said the YSRCP was committed to addressing the problems faced by the industries and working out a strategy to solve those.
VCCI president D.V. Raju mentioned about the importance of business, society and government going hand-in-hand for the overall growth of the economy.
Connectivity matters
Honorary secretary G. Veera Mohan threw light on the connectivity problem with regard to air linkage to the city with other major destinations in the country and abroad. He wanted an immediate solution to the issue, saying that many airlines were eager to operate from Visakhapatnam.
Members of the chamber raised concerns about the issues faced by the business community both in ease of doing business and continuing it. They briefed on issues pertaining to real estate, tourism, retail, logistics, IT, food processing and many more. Members also urged to work closely with the Centre for women empowerment and welfare.
Welfare of advocates
Mr. Satyanarayana visited the district court and thanked the members of Visakhapatnam Bar Association for electing him as the MP. “Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has promised facilities to the advocates by creating a ₹100-crore fund for advocate welfare and issuing health cards,” the MP-elect said.
VBA president G.M. Reddy, legal cell convenor N.K. Reddy, secretary Kondababu, Bar Council members P. Narsinga Rao, Krishna Mohan and Forum of Legal Professionals president Kuppili Muralidhar were present.
