AP EAMCET 2019 result declared; P Ravi Sri Teja gets first rank in Engineering

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education declared the results of Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET-2019) here on Tuesday. Around 2.8 lakh students appeared for the examination.
Out of 1,85,711 students appeared for the engineering stream 1,35,160 passed the examination with 74.39%.
Out of 85,916 appeared for the Agriculture, Veterinary stream 65512 cleared the examination which is 83.61%.
Sunkara Sai Swathi achieved state 1st Rank in Veterinary & Agriculture stream followed by 2nd ranker Dasari Kiran Kumar Reddy and Sai Praveen Gupta who secures 3rd rank.
P Ravi Sri Teja achieved first rank in Engineering stream. P Veda Pranav stood second followed by G Bhanu Data who secured third rank.
The APSCHE chairman Vijayaraju addressing media said that AP is the first state in India to conduct all CET exams in online mode. " We are conducting entrance examinations in a transparent way. We are successfully conducting CET exams in online mode from last threresults. Result got delayed this year with confusion in Intermediate supplementary results," said Vijayarao.
Examination was held in 115 online test centres across Andhra Pradesh. Around 36,998 students from Telangana also appeared AP EAMCET, he said.
Students can download their rank cards online from June 10 and we are also sending results to the registered email addresses. Students can also get the results through Real Time Governance Society and AP Fibernet, he added.
Counselling process is expected to start in the third week of June.
