MDMK chief Vaiko on Monday criticised the State Government for not allowing Tamil pandits from taking the Teacher’s Elgibility Test (TET) this year.
In a statement, he said that until 2017, Tamil pandits were allowed to write this test. However, he said, “The State government G.O. no. 70 prevents them from taking it.”
Vaiko alleged that around 40,000 Tamil pandits are affected by this move and urged the State to take corrective measures.
