Buying a smartphone on a budget is usually tough because you may find all the features you need but the phone may look boring. Then again, you may find a phone, which looks awesome, but the price tag can send you into a tizzy and make you wonder whether to buy or not. That said, everybody nowadays wants a good-looking phone which also comes with multiple smart features and is not too expensive. Realme C2 seems to fit the bill. Just like other smartphones in the budget segment, the Realme C2 is built out of plastic but the finish on the back panel is unique and will grab eyeballs.

The Body
The appearance of the phone is impressive because of its diamond cut design with three layers of paintings and pearl shining particles that give the phone an effect of a starry night sky or water movements. The phone gives it users a good experience while watching videos or playing any video game because of its 6.1 inch dewdrop full screen which comes with a corning glass that enhances the screen’s toughness on the HD+ screen.

Charging
The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery and if it’s charged properly, it can run for the entire day. And it’s true. We charged it in the morning and the phone operated till the end of the day.

The phone also charges real quick, so even if you are running late and have just 15 minutes in hand to charge, that’s probably just enough for your phone to last for a few hours.

Performance
The Realme C2 is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor that runs the apps smoothly without any glitches. The best part of the phone is probably the fact that it lets you multi-task without really lagging which will be appreciated by those who like to go back and forth when using multiple apps.

Unlike other phones RealMe C2 does not come with a fingerprint scanner but there is face recognition, which makes it rather quick and easy to unlock the phone.

A few apps such as Realme Community, Dailyhunt, Facebook, NewsPoint, UC Browser, Amazon Shopping, ShareChat, and PayTM come pre-installed on the Realme C2.

Like other Realme smartphones, the C2 has Driving and Riding modes which can automatically put the phone into DND mode when paired with a car’s Bluetooth head unit. It can also auto-send SMSes when you reject an incoming call. Gesture navigation is available and lets you swipe to navigate rather than use onscreen buttons.

Camera
The well-customised AI dual rear cameras (13MP+2 MP) are apt for more definite and natural photos with the Chroma Boost that improves the HDR range and colours which add a bit of drama to the pictures. There’s also a portrait mode and pictures clicked in this mode offer good details and edge detection. The front camera earns brownie points for the quality of selfies.

Price
Real Me C2, which is available in Diamond Black and Diamond Blue, comes in two variants with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, priced at Rs 5,999, and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, priced at Rs 7,999.
