NSA Ajit Doval gets extension for 5 more years, given cabinet rank
NSA Ajit Doval on Monday was given an extension for 5 more years and given cabinet rank in Government of India in recognition of his contribution in the national security domain. Doval, under whose supervision the 2016 surgical strikes after Uri terrorist attack and the 2019 Balakot surgical strikes took place, was appointed as National Security Advisor in 2014.
