Man held for clicking pics of women cops

Tirupur: The city police on Monday detained a 34-year-old differently-abled man after he was caught red-handed while capturing inappropriate pictures of policewomen stationed at the collectorate in his mobile phone.
Police identified him as K Senthil of Pudukottai district. He was staying in Koilvazhi and was working as a tailor in a knitwear unit.

More than 40 police personnel were deployed to control the people, who had turned up at the collectorate to attend the weekly grievance meeting, which was held for the second time after the model code of conduct expired. “Some of the policewomen noticed Senthil, who was clicking their pictures in an appropriate way. When they tried to check his mobile phone, he started to delete the pictures. But it was found that he had clicked photos of some visitors and policewomen,” a police officer said.
Veerapandi police detained Senthil before letting his go with a warning.
