Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu has hailed the initiative taken by the Chief Ministers of both Telugu States in trying to resolve a wide range of issues concerning them in a spirit of bonhomie.
Commenting on his Facebook page, the Vice-President welcomed the talks between the two Chief Ministers in the presence of the Governor on issues that could not be solved during the last five years.
He said it would be even better if the two States could solve the dispute without the need for the intervention of the Centre. Saying that he had wished the same in the past, Mr. Venkaiah said, unfortunately, it had not materialised.
