Sunny Deol in Kaza, Gurdaspur voters wait for his visit

Sunny Deol had gone to Manali and returned on May 23 when the results were declared.
AMRITSAR: While the people of Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency are eagerly awaiting for their star MP Sunny Deol to meet them, understand their issues and work to resolve them as promised by him in the run up to the recently concluded elections, the newly elected MP appears to be in a mood to laze around after weeks of hectic campaigning in the sweltering heat of Punjab.
Wearing a blue hoodie and a blue cap, Sunny on Saturday posted a video on his Instagram account: “This is on my way to Kaza, this is another beautiful place, last year also I stopped, nice people, nice food, they are making fresh food for me, so I have to wait for half an hour, but I would love to do that, the whole thing is so pretty, I wish I could come here and spend my winter over here, it will be fantastic”.
Voters replied back: ‘Prawa aja hun punjab kini thnd khayega tainu jitaya gurdaspur di sewa krn layi na ki jitn toh bad tuh bs chle jaye ghumn’ (Brother, please come back to Punjab. How much cold weather you will enjoy, we voted for you to serve Gurdaspur and not to go traveling after winning.) “Sir plz came back to Gurdaspur because everyone missing your presence here”.
After the elections, Sunny Deol had gone to Manali and returned on May 23 when the results were declared.

After Lok Sabha results were declared on May 23, Sunny left for Mumbai the very next day and had not come back, said BJP Gurdaspur district president Balkrishan Mittal while talking to TOI on Saturday . He, however, justified Sunny’s absence saying that his schedule was tight, besides he had to take oath as MP. Mittal said that Sunny had texted him informing that he would arrive in the constituency in the next three to four days and had asked him to prepare a list of important things to be done.
“There is need of a permanent bridge over river Ravi in Makora Pattan, salary issue in a Dhariwal mill, railway under bridge at Dera Baba Nanak and few other issues which Sunny would take up during his visit here,” said Mittal.
