R. Kelly 'made MORE child sex tapes that have already been handed over to police by one of his former employees'

  • Ex-employee of R. Kelly alleges more tapes of the singer with young girls exist
  • Staff member reportedly told a grand jury in Illinois tapes were kept as trophies
  • Tapes were allegedly handed over to the Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx
  • R. Kelly's attorney Steve Greenberg said claims seem similar to 2008 allegations

A former employee of R. Kelly reportedly told a grand jury there are fresh tapes of the singer having sex with underage girls.

The staff member allegedly said the musician regularly filmed himself with youngsters and kept the footage as trophies.

Multiple tapes of Kelly having sex with minors were allegedly made by the star - whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly - and police already have the recordings, according to TMZ.

The worker reportedly told Northern District of Illinois grand jury on Thursday that these new tapes were handed over to the authorities.

One new tape in particular has allegedly been given to Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx.

R. Kelly's attorney Steve Greenberg said the claims seemed to be the same allegations made during the 2008 child pornography case in which the singer was acquitted.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has reportedly been handed a new tape of R. Kelly with an underage girl

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has reportedly been handed a new tape of R. Kelly with an underage girl

He told TMZ: 'This seems to be the same claims that were made in the state case. We will address them in court.'

Kelly pleaded not guilty in February to charges he sexually assaulted three teenage girls and a fourth adult woman.

Last week the 52-year-old R&B singer was charged with 11 additional counts of sexual abuse - taking the total up to 21. These new charges are far more serious than any of Kelly's additional pending cases.

These new charges relate to a woman who was one of the three minors in a group of four alleged victims making abuse claims in February.

Chicago prosecutors charged him with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual assault by force, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

The alleged victim is between the ages of 13 and 16.

He was initially arrested in February on charges of sexually abusing a woman and three girls over roughly a 10-year period starting in the late 1990s.

One of the alleged victims also reportedly claimed Kelly's team paid off witnesses to not testify in the 2008 trial.

Witnesses in the 2008 case were allegedly sent on vacation when the trial was underway so they wouldn't be available to testify.

They claimed that Kelly's employees arranged their travel, including allegations of taking them across state lines.

Earlier this month, Kelly appeared for a hearing where Greenberg demanded prosecutors hand over celebrity attorney Michael Avenatti's video evidence that allegedly shows Kelly having sex with an underage girl.

The charges were brought against him after seven women, including his ex-wife, appeared on the Lifetime television documentary Surviving R Kelly and accused him of emotional and sexual abuse.

Kelly spent a weekend in prison on the sex charges before being released on $100,000 bail on February 25.

But he was arrested again on March 6 for failing to pay child support to his ex-wife, just hours after lashing out in a television interview with CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King when she questioned him about the sexual assault charges.

He was released from jail on March 9 after a child support payment of more than $161,000 was made to Andrea Kelly.
