Stock market update: Realty shares mixed; Phoenix Mills climbs 3%

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.18 per cent up at 284.45 around 10:30 am.

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Monday's morning session.

Shares of Phoenix Mills (up 3.43 per cent), DLF (up 1.05 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.24 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.06 per cent) were trading higher.

Indiabulls Real Estate (down 2.47 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 1.10 per cent), Sobha (down 0.80 per cent) and Godrej Properties (down 0.57 per cent) were trading with losses.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.18 per cent up at 284.45 around 10:30 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 48.50 points at 11,971.30 while the BSE Sensex was up 172.96 points at 39,887.16.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.

Shares of NCC, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Indian Oil Corp, PNB, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, GMR Infra and ITC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
