CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu
Teachers Recruitment Board has advised candidates appearing for the Teacher Eligibility
Test, whose hall tickets have errors, to carry an
ID proof (like the PAN card, Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID and driving licence) to the exam halls.
Over six lakh candidates have applied for the
TNTET scheduled to be held on June 8 and 9.
The hall tickets for the candidates were uploaded on May 26. The
TRB has received several complaints from the candidates with regards to the hall tickets.
"The hall tickets for many candidates have wrongly placed signature in space left for photograph due the errors committed by candidates. Those candidates have to take two photographs and get one of them attested by a gazetted officer and the other photo should be submitted to the hall superintendent to paste it on the attendance sheet," said a release from TRB said.
All the candidates with discrepancies in hall tickets should carry an ID card to the exam hall, the board said.
