BHOPAL: BJP leaders appear to be on a collision course after the results of the Lok Sabha were out, and such a situation has cropped up when Satna MP Ganesh Singh made a statement that those who secretly worked against the party should come in the open. Singh also said that some of the people who held the flag of the BJP actually worked for the Congress, and it happened because of caste factor.
On the heels of the statement of Singh, MLA from Maihar Narayan Tripathi said that such a remark cannot be tolerated.
Tripathi also said while making the statement Singh was oblivious of the fact that, he did not win the election because of his popularity, but it was the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party’s national president Amit Shah.
Singh seems to have lost his mental balance, and had the party MLAs opposed him, he would have lost the election, Tripathi said.
He said that Singh had worked against six party candidates during the assembly election, and that if he had not joined the BJP quitting the Congress in 2014, he would have never won the election.
Tripathi said that a complaint against Singh would be sent to the top BJP leadership. As Singh fought against Congress candidate Rajaram Tripathi, he indirectly took Narayan Tripathi to task alleging that he worked in favour of the Congress.
