Day temp falls again

Ludhiana: The city once again witnessed a slight fall in the day temperature on Sunday. The day temperature is expected to further drop down on Monday with the arrival of easterly winds in the state.
Even as the day temperature on Friday and Saturday in the city was recorded at 45.1 and 44.1 degrees respectively, it was not very sunny on Sunday. As per met department, The maximum (day) temperature in the city on Sunday was recorded at 43.6 degree Celsius, which is three degrees more than normal.
Meanwhile, minimum (night) temperature in Ludhiana on Sunday was recorded at 28.3 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees more than normal, but 0.1 degrees less than on Saturday.
The met department website predicts day temperature to fall gradually which may reach to 42 degree Celsius till Wednesday. The night temperature is also expected to fall to 26 degrees till Friday.
