These are the faces of twelve individuals whose lives were lost at the hands of a gunman police identified on Saturday as DeWayne Craddock -- a disgruntled city engineer.
He had reportedly worked for the city's public utilities department for about 15 years.
Craddock allegedly opened fire with a .45-caliber handgun at the municipal center in Virginia Beach on Friday afternoon leaving at least a dozen people dead and several others injured.
Police chief James Cervera said the shooter died after an extended gunbattle with police.
