“While the price of Non-Subsidized LPG at Delhi will increase by Rs 25 per cylinder in June 2019 mainly due to increase in international price, the actual impact on subsidized domestic LPG customers is only Rs 1.23 per cylinder, which is mainly due to GST on the above,” Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said in a statement.
The subsidy transfer in the customers’ bank account has been increased to Rs 240.13 per cylinder in June 2019 as against Rs 216.36 per cylinder in May 2019, the country’s largest fuel retailer said.
IOC added that this is meant to protect the domestic subsidized LPG customers against the increase in prices of LPG.
