FV Frangivento Asfane DieciDieci Is A Stunning, 996 HP Plug-In Hybrid Supercar

Following a handful of teasers, FV Frangivento has unveiled the Asfane DieciDieci supercar in Italy.

Looking as outrageous as promised, the car has a wedge-like carbon fiber and aluminum body with gullwing doors, a carbon fiber spoiler, roof-mounted scoop and OZ Racing wheels.

The radical styling continues at the back as the plug-in hybrid supercar has floating brake lights and a massive diffuser and a six-tip exhaust. The two-tone interior features an aircraft-inspired steering wheel and a freestanding digital instrument cluster. Elsewhere, there’s an infotainment system and alloy pedals.

The company didn’t say much about the specs, but Lastampa.it reports it has a turbocharged 5.4-liter V10 ICE that produces 848 hp (633 kW / 860 PS). It is backed up by two electric motors that are mounted on the front axle and develop an additional 148 hp (110 kW / 150 PS), for a total output of 996 hp (743 kW / 1010 PS).

The Asfane DieciDieci reportedly rides an aluminum frame and has an eight-speed automatic transmission, though there’s no word on performance figures just yet.

Quattroruote says the company aspires to become the Italian equivalent of Koenigsegg, but they clearly still have a long way to go. As a result, the Asfane DieciDieci is reportedly for sale and those funds will be used to “finance the next development steps of the project.” Interested customers can reportedly expect to shell out between $1.1 – $1.7 (£0.9 – £1.3 / €1 – €1.5) million.
