Vadodara: The National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL), which is implementing the ambitious bullet train project between Ahmedabad and Mumbai, has started promoting entrepreneurship in Gujarat.
After successfully organizing an entrepreneurship awareness camp in Kheda, the NHSRCL has decided to organize more such camps covering project affected persons across the state.
NHSRCL in association with Rudset Training Institute had recently organized a camp at Kheda’s Bhumel village to encourage the village youths to opt for skill development that will increase their income generation opportunities.
The camp at Bhumel included a presentation by NHSRCL giving brief details of the project and later by the Rudset institute regarding skill development opportunities available to the youth.
The institute showcased success stories of people who have benefitted by establishing their own enterprises during the camp in which 82 people participated. A total of 31 participants applied for training in various trades on the spot.
“We want to organize such camps covering all project affected persons. The entire expense of their training is provided by us,” said an NHSRCL official, adding that in central Gujarat, around 25 such camps will be organized for project affected persons in 69 villages of Anand, Kheda and Vadodara.
“After the youths undergo skill enhancement training, they can avail of loans to start their own enterprises,” he said.
