Ayushmann Khurrana’s midnight shoot in Kanpur

The shoot for Amar Kaushik’s upcoming movie 'Bala' is in full swing in Kanpur. After shooting for actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s childhood days at Methodist High School, the cast and crew of the film shot a saloon scene at a popular salon on Mall Road. The next schedule took them for a night shoot to the Anwarganj Railway Station in Kanpur, where both Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam canned their shots.

Owing to excessive heat during day time, the makers of the film are majorly shooting at night. "Bahut zyada garmi ho rahi hai aaj kal. Issi liye zyaadatar shoot raat main hi ho rahe hain. Aaj Ayushmann Khurrana aur Yami Gautam ka ek scene hai jisme woh car main baith kar kuchh baatein kar rahe hain," informed a source from the set.
The security was tight as the filmmakers did not want to reveal the look of Ayushmann in the film who deals with premature balding in the film.
As per the sources, actress Bhumi Pednekar is playing the role of a dusky small town educated girl whereas actress Yami Gautam plays a supermodel who belongs to Lucknow. The cast and crew will next be soon shooting in an office premises in Civil Lines area and they also plan to shoot some scenes at the Ganga barrage in days to come. Actor Jaaved Jaaferi has also arrived in Kanpur and will soon begin shooting for the film. Other cast inlcudes Saurabh SHukla and Seema Pahwa in important roles.
